Andros is the largest island of Cyclades after Naxos. The capital of the island is Andros Town or Chora. Andros Island has an area of ​​379.7 square kilometers and a 176 km coastline.

Batsi

Batsi is a seaside village of Andros. Located 8 km away from the port of Gavrio and 27 km away from Chora, on the west coast of Andros. Batsi has a great beach that has been awarded with a blue flag.

Hiking in Andros

 Andros has many sandy and rocky beaches, the most popular sandy beaches are Nimborio in Chora, the Golden Sand in Kypri and Achla which is accessible by boat starting from the port of Chora or the dirt road only cars with four-wheel drive can be the cross. Of course there are rocky beaches that are popular such as Gialia on Stenies, Chalkolimionas in Stavropeda and the beach of the village Sineti.
